We have provided generous care to our patients since established in 1983. Currently we offer three locations, in Stamford, Norwalk, and Bridgeport.
At Retina Associates of CT we strive to help our patients feel at ease and comfortable with our attentive and mindful approach. Our provider has years of experience and success, and our patients can expect personal and professional care. Dr. Piro offers quality services along with years of expertise to treat or diagnose complex retina problems.

Ophthalmologist of 35 Years, Specializing in Treatment of Disease and Surgery.
Dr. Piro began his ophthalmology journey at Yale University in 1974. He then furthered his education at Columbia University of Physicians and Surgeons, and John Hopkins University where he carried out his residency. He is currently a member of the Fairfield County Medical Society, Connecticut State Medical Society, and American Academy of Ophthalmology Vitreous Academy. He and his wife, Marion, have two children and reside in southern Connecticut. Dr. Piro has been in practice for 35 years, giving top quality care to each patient. He is known for being not only professional, but personable, and strives to give the best experience possible for each individual patient.
COVID 19 UPDATE: We are currently open and accepting in office visits. It is policy that everyone is required to wear a mask. Other forms of protective equipment is optional. If you or anyone you have been in contact with has any symptoms or was diagnosed with Corona Virus, please call to cancel your appointment and we will reschedule you. Our office is sanitized between patients and scheduling at a lower volume to avoid crowding our common areas. Due to high volumes of appointment changes, please call to confirm or change your appointment. We appreciate everyone doing their part to help keeping our office a safe and clean environment. We do ask that you limit bringing people to your appointment unless necessary.
